For one of our largest clients we have developed an Operational Data Storage (ODS) that is a perfectly complementary product to their current data warehouse solution, which focuses solely on operational data. It enables the organization to provide a snapshot of the most recent data from multiple transactional systems by combining data in its original format from different sources into a single target (the ODS) for operational reporting. By developing APIs and leveraging multiple Business Intelligence (BI) software, the bank can transform the data stored in the ODS into a powerful and data-driven decision-making tool.
Typical week: (travel activity: 5%)
Data modeling in the enterprise environment in the core banking area. (DWH...)
High level effort estimates to avoid unnecessary discussions
Optimization of Oracle Data Marts and DWHs as well as modernization and migration of numerous legacy systems such as SAS, Teradata and many more.
Automated data pipelines, ETL and ELT processes with the Dev's
Independent differentiation between must-have & nice-to-have functionalities
Collaborate & learn with the team = 8 specialized teammates (DevOps, DBA, Architect., Dev...)
